Short version: Bandha does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. Its only network request downloads a small public list of our other apps. Everything below explains exactly why.
Bandha keeps a local, on-device Journal — your daily practice streak and stamps for the techniques you've practiced. This data:
There is no account system and no sign-in.
The About screen shows a list of our other apps and games. To keep that list up to date without an app update, Bandha downloads one small public text file from our website (axarapps.github.io, hosted by GitHub Pages) and keeps a copy on your device. The request carries no account, no identifier of yours and no data from the app. Like any web request, the host can see the IP address it comes from; we do not log or read it. Tapping a row opens that app's Google Play page.
Two buttons in the app hand off to software you already have installed, rather than doing anything themselves:
If you turn on the daily practice reminder, Bandha schedules a local notification directly on your device. No reminder data is sent anywhere, and nothing is scheduled unless you explicitly enable it in Settings.
The About screen shows static Bitcoin and Solana addresses (with a QR code) if you'd like to leave an optional tip. These addresses are fixed text bundled with the app — Bandha does not query any blockchain, make any network request, or track whether you've sent anything. Tapping an address only copies it to your clipboard.
Bandha does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information from anyone. There is nothing to opt out of.
