Privacy Policy for Prana

Effective September 9, 2026

Short version: Prana does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data, anywhere. Everything below explains exactly why.

What the app stores

Prana keeps a local, on-device Journey log — your current streak, total breaths taken, and minutes practiced. This data:

• never leaves your device
• is not linked to your identity, an account, or any other person's data
• is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app

There is no account system, no sign-in, and no server that the app talks to.

What the app does not do

• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
• No advertising SDKs or ad identifiers
• No location, contacts, camera, or microphone access
• No network permission is even requested by the app itself

Audio cues

Prana plays short inhale/exhale sound cues bundled with the app itself, to pace your breathing. This is local audio playback only — the app does not access your microphone and does not record anything.

Crypto tip jar

The About screen shows static Bitcoin and Solana addresses (with a QR code) if you'd like to leave an optional tip. These addresses are fixed text bundled with the app — Prana does not query any blockchain, make any network request, or track whether you've sent anything. Tapping an address only copies it to your clipboard.

Children's privacy

Prana does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect information from anyone. There is nothing to opt out of.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this same page with a new effective date above.
