Privacy Policy for Rewind Rush

Effective October 12, 2026

Short version: Rewind Rush keeps your progress on your device and has no accounts of its own. It shows optional rewarded video ads (Google AdMob), sells optional purchases through Google Play, can sign you in to Google Play Games, and uses Firebase for anonymous usage and crash reports.

What the app stores

Rewind Rush saves your best score, your coins and diamonds, the heroes you unlocked, your daily and weekly progress and your settings. This data stays on your device, is not linked to any account we run, and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

Rewarded video ads

Rewind Rush can show rewarded video ads from Google AdMob. A video is only shown when you choose to watch one, for example to double the coins from a run or to get a free diamond. To show ads, AdMob may use the advertising ID of your device and approximate location derived from your connection, and measures how ads perform. Where required (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app first shows Google's consent form so you can choose. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Google processes this data under its own Privacy Policy and the AdMob data policy.

Purchases

Optional purchases (heroes, diamonds, the starter pack) are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details. The app stores which items you bought so it can unlock them and restore them on a new device through Google Play.

Google Play Games leaderboard and achievements

Rewind Rush uses Google Play Games Services for its leaderboard and achievements. Signing in is optional. If you sign in, Google provides your player ID and display name, and your scores and achievements are sent to Google Play Games Services, where other players can see your score and display name on the leaderboard. Google processes this under its own Privacy Policy; you can manage or delete your Play Games profile in the Google Play Games app and your Google account settings. Rewind Rush does not send this data to any server of ours. We do not run a server for this app.

Analytics and crash reports

Rewind Rush uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics collects basic usage information (which screens are opened, how often the app is used) tied to an anonymous installation identifier. Crashlytics sends a report when the app crashes, with the error and basic device information (model, Android version, app version). Google processes this under Firebase's privacy and security terms.

The list of our other apps

The About screen shows a list of our other apps and games. To keep that list up to date without an app update, Rewind Rush downloads one small public text file from our website (axarapps.github.io, hosted by GitHub Pages) and keeps a copy on your device. The request carries no account, no identifier of yours and no data from the app. Like any web request, the host can see the IP address it comes from; we do not log or read it. Tapping a row opens that app's Google Play page.

Permissions

What the app does not do

Challenge a friend

The Challenge a friend button opens Android's own share sheet with a short message that contains a challenge code and a link to the app's Google Play page. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app and send it yourself. The code contains the course and your score; it does not identify you.

Sound

Rewind Rush creates its sounds and music on the device itself. It does not access your microphone and does not record anything.

Crypto tip jar

The About screen shows static Solana (SOL) and USD Coin (USDC) addresses for an optional tip. They are fixed text bundled with the app: the app makes no network request for this and does not track tips.

Children's privacy

Rewind Rush is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
