Privacy Policy for Sort It

Effective October 2, 2026

Short version: Sort It keeps your scores on your device and has no accounts of its own. If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, Google handles your leaderboard data. Sort It also uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. Details below.

What the app stores

Sort It saves your personal best score, how many rounds you have played, and your sound and vibration settings. This data:

Google Play Games leaderboard and achievements

Sort It uses Google Play Games Services for its leaderboard and achievements. Signing in is optional, and the game can be played fully without it. If you sign in:

Sort It does not send your scores, achievements, name or player ID to any server of ours. We do not run a server for this app.

Analytics and crash reports

Sort It uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, both Google services. This is separate from your leaderboard sign-in and does not need you to sign in to anything.

Permissions

What the app does not do

If advertising is ever added in a future version, this page will be updated before that version is released.

Sound

Sort It creates its short game sounds on the device itself. It does not access your microphone and does not record anything.

Sharing your score

The Share button opens Android's own share sheet with a short message containing your score and a link to the app's Google Play page. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app and send it yourself.

In-app review

After a few rounds Sort It may ask Google Play to show its standard review dialog. Reviews are handled entirely by Google Play.

Crypto tip jar

The About screen shows static Solana (SOL) and USD Coin (USDC) addresses if you would like to leave an optional tip. These addresses are fixed text bundled with the app. Sort It does not query any blockchain, make any network request for this, or track whether you have sent anything. Tapping the copy icon only copies the address to your clipboard.

Children's privacy

Sort It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. The app itself collects no personal information. Google Play Games Services applies its own age requirements to signing in.
